SMZ cycle-car was a series of SeAZ microcars, including S3A(S-Three-A) and S3D(S-Three-D), manufactured in Serpukhov, Russia (SMZ means Serpukhovskiy Mototsikletniy Zavod, Serpukhov Motor Factory, Russian: Серпуховский Мотозавод). They were specially designed for disabled drivers, were distributed among them for free or with large discounts via social care system, and generally were not officially sold to non-disabled people.
The car used a motorcycle engine IZH-49 with 8 horsepower
Issued in a magazine series "Avtolegendy USSR" trading house Deagostini.
